MMA Press in Honolulu, HI

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to plug local journalist that have helped the sport of mixed martial arts grow in Hawaii and abroad. There's still a negative stigma to mixed martial arts for some non-fans of the sport being too violent. I believe some folks saw the original mixed martial arts fights back in 1993 and were scared to death because of the lack of rules, no weight classes, etc. In my opinion, these individuals are oblivious and not educated in the evolution of the sport that have helped make conditions and regulations safer for mixed martial art athletes. These journalists have done an excellent job to garner the attention of the mainstream and casual fans.
